Though it may sound a bit insane, recently at my work I needed to somehow combine the java classes with assembly code. After I succeeded, I decided to make a small example program to post on the board, so anyone could see how it's done.

I'm attaching this program here. It is a console application for Win32 (I haven't yet used java from linux assembly, but I guess it wouldn't be much different). You may need to modify the path to JVM.DLL that is defined in source and re-assemble to make it work on your system.

The example uses the ZipFile class to list the files from the .zip archive.

Nice example!
They can make us use HLL's like Java. But they can't stop us from using Assembly! Smile

Indeed, but i see java as a "super HLL" because it's higher level than C/C++ which are also considered HLLs.
