Though it may sound a bit insane, recently at my work I needed to somehow combine the java classes with assembly code. After I succeeded, I decided to make a small example program to post on the board, so anyone could see how it's done.
I'm attaching this program here. It is a console application for Win32 (I haven't yet used java from linux assembly, but I guess it wouldn't be much different). You may need to modify the path to JVM.DLL that is defined in source and re-assemble to make it work on your system. The example uses the ZipFile class to list the files from the .zip archive.
