                  Plain binary file or an ELF executable file?

                  This is most likely because you need to set the file to executable permissions.

                Code: chmod +x your_exe     |
              |||

                  Check Kernel Configuration (where executable files or something)

                There you can select binary file support |

                It does not matter if u are root, a user or god himself.. First you must make the file executable.. and then u can run it. Its only after that, that it matters which user u are and if u can actually execute the script/program |

                  IF you are root to linux you ARE god

                but with out breathing life in to it even god can't tell a stone to get up and run |

                  Write a little ELF program that loads (mmap() seems like a decent choice) a binary file and executes it...
