I was wondering if doing macros for the sys calls would be useful to anyone else.
I just started implementing them but I think it could be a good way to make things easier.

Any thoughts?

Macros would be nice, documentation even nicer. I had that on my todo list, but dropped the idea after I got to the joy of GTK programming in FASM Smile

Can you give an example what layout of macros you think of?

Here is what I have so far. Not sure if this is the best idea or not. Still tring to figure out how the hell some of these work.

Anything in particular your have trouble with?

there is a whole set of syscall macros already done for nasm
thay just need to be ported over to fasm

not just for linux but about 9 flavors of nix

yes there at http://linuxassembly.org
in with the asmutils project source code
