I won't admit it but ( ) C/C++ is more portable than asm. But Linux does have parts written in asm (IMO unfortainly mostly GAS syntax, it would be better with intel/fasm syntax). And some people find it easier to code in C/C++, personally I prefer assembly, becuase I can't stand all these type casts (but still I'm learning java -- which basically is C++ but more "objectized", I'm a living contradiction ) _________________ ... a professor saying: "use this proprietary software to learn computer science" is the same as English professor handing you a copy of Shakespeare and saying: "use this book to learn Shakespeare without opening the book itself. - Bradley Kuhn | |||

| Vitamin-X 06 Oct 2003, 16:59 your right guys, the problem that i was looking for some NEW OS 1 year ago.. and i'm trying my best to agree about M OS to be used on a News Agency that will use it for digital Signature and Encrypt/ Decrypt Stuff But until now.. still not sure.. i mean i saw it look good and running fine but i'm not into asm stuff so, i cannot have this des. alone.. and 1 more problem is 370 agent will use it and mostle 15% to 20% of them will access M OS at the same time. to upload and download files. less tham 1 mb. _________________ Make it OR Die | |||
