I'm looking into how to change the resolution of the display on my installation.

Settings/Hardware:
Menuet OS 64 bit iso
VirtualBox 6.1 (with Linux host)

I noticed that there is a config.mnt file which allows one to change options like screen resolution and ram allocation. However, since I'm using the iso image I can't actually change the screen resolution in that file because it is a fixed iso.

What would be the best way to change this option? Do I have to install Menuet to the virtualbox virtual disk I created? If so, are there instructions for that?

Thanks! I'm an intermediate asm programmer but new to Menuet.

You could download the 1.4mb diskette image and change the config.mnt -file in there. Then configure VirtualBox to boot from the modified diskette image. If you also want the games from CD (doom, quake), mount the Menuet CD ISO -image within VirtualBox. The modified M64 diskette will also run the games from the mounted CD.
