string to number problem

I used mul and the result of fffffh is 0000001a:2f00ffff edx:eax.
I add all the edx's values together and I mul a pow then add to result is what eax is why isn't it coming out properly? what I mean is what do I have to do to edx:eax to get the correct result 00000000:000fffff

you should express yourself with code rather than english as it's far more helpful for us to figure out whats wrong (preferably a small snippet if it is self contained). until you do your problem is subject to serious interpretation.

Code:
mov edx,0 ;or you can use xor edx,edx
mov eax,0xfffff
