Generate a 256 bytes table, from 0 to 255.



open the generated file with hexadecimal editor

copy the ascii part of the hexa display
paste into fasm

edit at the suposed tild '~' position.

for example, insert a space ' ' after the tild
normally, you get a strange behavior, where the spaces take the appearance of the character after the tild, here the TM '™'.
there is also an offset in character selection, when i select the 'š', i get the '™'
when you select the text, the characters becomes spaces
but it continues to act strangelly.

Do you mean the character 0x98?

i have all right on 1251/2 codepages
btw hex-editor inserted newline-s in your case
i used winhex - got single line
it also (character) depends on the font fasmide used
and hex-editor's language (controled via ctfmon's ALT/CRTL-SHIFT) at CTRL-C press e.g. french/english/russian/etc
