I like what I see. I'm still having a problem getting the mouse to work, and I can't figure out how to initiate a program just using the alt key and the arrow keys. I tried hitting enter, but that don't work. Any help would be nice on that one.
Another question that I have is, is there a plan to make an autodetect, so you don't have to go through the blue screen? Its nice and all, but it gets tedious when you just want to turn your computer on and run the system.
This system has given me some a business ideas. After reading an article on OSNEWS last night, I brainstormed and came up with the concept for a business model that would work, using MenuetOS as the basis for the whole system. However, right now, that's all it is, a concept.
I would love to see this system take off and become as big as Linux. I believe this system, as opposed to Linux, which is too close to Unix for comfort, could be the one to take on the big guns. However, there's still some work to be done before its anywhere near ready for that. Then again, in order to make it ready for business, all you would need is an office suite, an internet browser and a way to make the OS into several types of servers. Easier said than done, but I believe it could be done in a short amount of time with the right team working on it.
Anyway, nice system. I look forward to solving my mouse problems and really taking it out for a test drive.
