Using the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) to protect yourself from organisations like MPAA and RIAA.

If someone wants to catch you with copyrighted data then they have to break the law to do it.

Interesting consequences for bad laws. Using laws originally designed to harm you for your own protection.

This may only affect US people. Pity that the US has such a bad law like DMCA. Other countries may have either worse or better laws, depends upon where you live. Maybe 'staple' won't give you any benefit, I don't know, but I like the thinking behind it.
