Hi!

Anyone out there try to get menuet to run on the fxa series of sony vaio laptops? If so, what sort of arcane wizardy did you do to get it to run. I tried coaxing it with every menuet/bios setting I could muster only to be greeted with a blank screen every time.

Anyone who has gotten menuet to run on on a vaio laptop (the FXA series in particular), I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks.

btw- if anyone on the development team is interested in figuring out why I am getting a blank screen of death, I will be more than happy to provide technical details on the laptop (chipsets, motherboard manufacturer, etc) in order to help sort this out.

Thanks

Well, I have an even worse problem. I started MenuetOS on my Sony VAIO series laptop PCG-FXA53, and after the gui wouldn't fully load and all sorts of errors occurred, I rebooted the pc by holding the power button for 4 seconds. When I turned it back on, the power light came on but nothing else happened. MenuetOS effectively killed my laptop. If there are any suggestions to getting this thing back to life I would greatly appreciate it, as this computer is a valuable asset to me.
