I just fell in love with this music video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nTSU-mFWGs
Simple, cheering and funny, just as I like. Plus the charm of the singer. Wink

If you've got any favorite music video you'd like to share, please post about them here.

It was Cure's Lullaby (thanks HyperVista), but youtube says "This video is not available in your country" now. That sucks.

Yeah, what is quite funny, Lenka resembles Polish actress Katarzyna Glinka. Wink Lenka's songs really can improve listener's mood. Smile

Most our old socialist era songs suffered greatly from being exclusively ultrahappy, too bad words wouldn't be understood. So, at least here's some old world pop music, not sure if anything fits you but at least you can try.

Suzi Quatro: most of her stuff was rockin', but this one is way more into 70s pop, and I am completely high on it (well, just like on any song where she was still under 30): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-ezeQw_OAw

If you want something bit more rocking-happy, try Opus or this one

If you seek something more hippie-happy, I suggest old Cher and Sony (not suggested if you want to cheer up after breaking up with gf though Very Happy )

More into disco-happy is probably Scatman John

If you want happy classical music, Verdi - Anvil Chorus is sure bet.

Well, since we're talking about "happy" music, I cannot omit other of my favorites, The Polyphonic Spree.

I first met their music, when they promoted their second album "Together We're Heavy" (which is the one I value them for) with a small game called Quest for the Rest, made by Amanita Design. This is a studio from Czech Republic, which I knew because of their first online flash game, Samorost. I loved this game for its fascinating graphics, vivid imagination and a little psychedelic spirit. So later I checked out their other productions and found out that one with the music of The Polyphonic Spree. And I really liked it.

By the way, Amanita Design is now working on a "real", full-scale game, called Machinarium. I'm looking forward to it, this drawing style really catches my eye.

And, talking about psychedelic, in that area I would surely recommend the Frontier Psychiatrist music video. That's a good one! Watch carefully. Wink

hahaha, I already seriously thought of posting Karel Gott before. That's the example of "socialist era songs suffering greatly from being exclusively ultrahappy" I was talking about. Funny that you know him in Ukraine.
