i am trying to play esxi 5.1u in these several days,
i hope i learn something new,

i guess, next thing is people start to program using hypervisor api instead of OS api,

then every program will run separately under hypervisor,

commonly, now memory size for new laptop is around 4GB, motherboard supported max at 8GB,

end of this year or maybe 2014 mid, we would see default memory at 8GB, max 16GB, hard disk 1TB,

maybe a external SATA raid box with 4 unit notebook size hard disk,

ok, i was thinking that you are claiming vmware esxi is clear slower than virtualbox,

and the main issue (afaik) is disk io, world need a storage technology breakthrough, like quantum storage, bio hard disk or any other you name it into market,

there is another method of doing this near bare metal virtualization,

one i found out is, using tinycorelinux, the less than 40MB linux,
then install virtualbox on it,

esxi doesnt support my desktop pc lan, unable to find third party driver too, gonna google performance compare esxi with virtualbox
