Photo taken yesterday's evening after long expected rain before the sunset. I used to name this specific time (1-2 hours before the sunset) "emerald hours" due to the interesting illumination (sunlight goes through the leaves of plants changing everything around into the magic treasury full of emeralds Wink ).

Yeah, some plants originate in North and South America, some in Asia. Wink But, unfortunately, growing time is very short here - not every plant can acclimatize in Poland.

Hehe, nice photos. Just want to say a few words about the first one - the emerald. It is, generally, difficult to take good shots facing the sun or a strong light source. Usually, other than a bright spot, everything else in the photo would appear too dark ...

Attached is one such photo that, I think, is acceptable, not very good though. Wink

Your last photo is very decorative and has quite strong tranquilizing properties, I like it. Smile. Beautiful tree with fancifully bent boughs!

According to HK Chinese tradition, the 7th month of the Chinese Calendar is generally regarded as the month of the spirits, suggesting that the spirits of the dead would kind of escape from the hell and stay in the living world for a while. In order to calm these spirits, some Cantonese opera would be performed for them.

I'm going to show some photos of one such opera. Wink

You may think that such stage performance is kind of old-fashioned. Think again! The lines/lyrics, in sync with the acting/singing, are shown on a LCD panel! Wink

Thank you YONG for these beautiful scenes from this live performance. Very Happy In Poland we have only two days (November 1st and 2nd) dedicated to memory of our dead relatives, ancestors and great people. Wink Those days we mainly spend on the cemeteries, visiting graves and lighting fires on them.
