The tool is not as much important as the photographer's talent. You can take awesome photos using only camera obscura. Wink
Bro, I guess you would also need a photographic film. Wink
That's so obvious to me that I forget to add it. Wink

You may use also photographic paper or CCD matrix. Wink

This proves that a really decent camera does not cost lower than $1000.
That may not be true. Take a look at the following reviews:

http://www.photographyblog.com/reviews/fujifilm_x_a1_review/image_quality/

The photo quality of that camera is quite below my "standards" (I would rate it 2 stars, out of five)...
Yeah, I would rate it 2 stars out of 5 as well. The ISO is too high (ISO 1600) and thus the picture appears a bit grainy. Besides, the bird appears a bit blurred as it was vigilantly turning its head around to look out for danger.

And here's a kind of butterfly or something I found somewhere in my house (shot with cheap/ordinary camera):

Very nice photos. I would rate them 4 out of 5. (I took your passion in photography into account.)

Which is 0, I have no passion for photography. I'm just curious and I like to test things I have and I do casual shots.
Yes, you have. You are willing to share your shots with the forum members -- that alone is passion. Wink

Winter is coming -- this bird needs a black scarf to defy the chilling wind:

This bird is intelligent -- and thirsty -- as it knows where to find free drinking water:

Enjoy!

When I look at this spruce-larch colossus in ivy trousers I feel like a Lilliputian in comparison to Gulliver. Wink

Nice photos. Snowy scenery always sounds attractive to Hongkongers like me. Wink

In a relatively short distance from where i was yesterday is the ancient Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion.
There is a ritualistic atmosphere and the view of Aegean is excellent, you can get some really nice shots there.
If I ever visit Greece and Athens, I will see this enchanting place for sure. Wink

Here you have another photo showing the Temple of Poseidon taken about 3 weeks ago by photographer alexandros maragos.
