Hello World, from nop

for my first post i hope its ok to introduce myself here.

actually nop is just my nickname cos lots of people think its easier to remember than my real full name which is xchg ax,ax

sum people also call me by my codename 10010000b, or 90h for short.

most people think i'm lazy cos they think i don't do a lot, but thats not fair cos i actually work just as hard as anybody else.

but i guess its true that i don't achieve a lot, even though i do try hard.
sumtimes i feel used though, like as a substitute for my good friend int3.

would you believe sumtimes i even get used as padding for aligns? i'm quite jealous of int3 really, cos she's sooo useful, and she has such pretty codenames - 11001100b or CCh.

what really annoys me is that i also get used just to waste sum time. i mean, how soul-destroying is that? also i get to play with the flags, but i always have to leave them just as i found them.

well, it will be nice to meet you all, i hope i haven't bored you too much and i hope i haven't wasted sum of your time, except maybe for just a little bit Wink

and thank you also revolution, Mhajduk, vid & thimis for your warm welcomes. i can see this will be a fun place to hang out Very Happy

i asked my step-mother and father about xchg sp,sp, but they said i'm too young to know what she gets up to with movdqa xmm5,xmm5 but hey, i am 16. can you tell me revolution, pleeeeze Question my step-mother xchg eax,eax is only 32, but my dad xchg rax,rax is 64!

ouch! my real sister xchg cx,cx just threw a zero flag at me, but she knows she has to put it back. we are such a family of non-achievers, but at least we know how to have fun. i was only teasing her about her ugly code name 87c9

nah, we don't talk to that lot. they try to gate-crash our xchg reg,reg family parties sumtimes. the lea reg,[reg] family is actually quite bad cos i've heard that they can't be relied on to always put all the flags back, like we do.

yep, we have the CPU Security Act for (re)cursed terrorists like Bin call $

ORLY? First I've heard of it. They have always been perfectly honourable w.r.t. the flags whenever I've dealt with them.
