As far as I have noticed, j-pop songs seem to be a bit "lighter" and cheerful than their European or American counterparts. Interesting, what can cause that difference? Wink

hi MHajduk, i guess most of the j-pop songs i shared here came from japan anime, maybe thats the main reason why they seem so cheerful and lighter Laughing

there are j-pop melancholic songs too, here Laughing
one of the best!

X Japan - Tears Live (HD)

almost a recollect of moments in this life, maybe it is irrational love that could makes love so shining? idk, teardrops in my eyes.

Even though almost all of the songs by this band sound too metal to me, I did find an exception:

X Japan - Kurenai
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hnzn_PCY-z8

The first 90 seconds is truly beautiful.

The audio layer of this MV is powerful and catchy, I like it a lot. The video part is also truly interesting to me as it shows less known side of HK (reminds me a bit of some scenes from Jackie Chan movies). Smile

Yeah, this song is performed in a passionate manner, so genuine that the spectator can have a feeling of participation in that show. Smile

Let your souls dive in the sound depths of the following madrigal by Claudio Monteverdi, a Baroque Italian composer (one remark: turn up the voulume to the maximum if you want to fully appreciate value of the song):Smile

Truly beautiful music pieces. The instrument played by the rightmost musician on the MV is HUGE! Top-notch recommendations.

All of the mentioned music pieces are equally pleasant to listen to yet I would pick the third one as my favorite among them. I like the sound of the guitar here, especially the intro. Smile

Here you have two gems, music pieces by Polish Baroque composers. One of these compositions is quite sentimental yet filled with internal light that corresponds to the weather characteristic for the end of summer whereas the second one is quite energetic and cheerful:
  1. ImageImageImage Stanisław Sylwester Szarzyński - Sonata for strings in D major
  2. ImageImageImage Adam Jarzębski - Tamburetta
Smile

The second music piece on the list gives me a cheerfully-energetic atmosphere. I like it.
