Each of these songs is pleasant to listen to, each of them evokes different emotions. Talking of the first of the aforementioned music pieces, it is sung in a greatly passionate manner yet somehow firmly and elegantly. The second one sounds like a letter /ode to someone who has just passed away, sad but serene. The last song sounds a bit revolutionary but, from the other hand, its lyrics discloses also a specific kind of humor of the person who wrote it. Wink

A nice song, reminds me in style some creations by "Simply Red". Check it, you'll find some similarities for sure. Smile

All of these music pieces are perfect but the last two give me absolutely transcendental feelings, excellent music taste, indeed. Wink

Sometimes, it is quite interesting to look for some classical inspirations in contemporary pop / rock songs.

Many of you probably know thatdraws on the following well known classic (Air on the G String) by Johann Sebastian Bach:
But the undermentioned song by an Italian songstress seems to be inspired not only by Bach's Air but also by his Fugue (compare the endings of both music pieces):Wink

"Procol Harum - A Whiter Shade Of Pale" is a well-known classic. But I really did not know that the song had so many notes "borrowed from" a Bach's composition. Thanks for the comparison. Wink

Seems that I must have heard this music piece before because the melody sounds quite familiar to me. The next song of the set

is a nice ballad, I like a quite developed melodic line here, the instrumental arrangement is something that creates a good and tranquil atmosphere around the listener This song sounds like a counterpart for the Procol Harum song mentioned by me, a kind of baroque echoes can be heard there in the Grasshoppers' composition. I think I have to extend my list of my favorite HK songstresses by the name of Vivian Chow not only because of the mild voice and finesse singing technique but also because of outstanding physical attractiveness. Wink

  2. ImageImageImage Sudirman - Aku Dan Duniaku
  3. ImageImageImage Sudirman - Hari Ini Dalam Kenangan

All are nice, but I would say I like the third and final song very much, which not just has a catchy melody line but also carries a great deal of passion. It is defnitely one of the best of your recent recommendations. Wink
