Today I'd like to recommend a handful of utterly melodious and sentimental songs. The first one is a quite new music piece from Yakutia:and other three that are performed by Kyrgyz songstresses:
  1. ImageImageImage Gulzada Ryskulova - Tolgonuu
  2. ImageImageImage Yuliya Rutskaya - Appak suyuu
  3. ImageImageImage Gülbü Oroskul kyzy - Arzuu

This recommendation sounds truly unique and refreshing. The characteristic vocal of the songstress reminds me of the following semi-classic:

Sinéad O'Connor & The Chieftains - The Foggy Dew

I slightly prefer the second song on the presented list, which gives me a "nostalgia" feel. Its melody is catchy, too. Very nice recommendation! Wink

Yes, I can trace some surprising similarities in both songs. Interesting, indeed. Smile

Although all of the presented songs are above the bar, I can nevertheless find some small differences between them that allow me to choose "the best of the best". Wink I mean here the first song (due to the unique timbre of the singer's voice) and the third one that has got a specifically sentimental atmosphere (similar to that present in some Polish movie themes from 80's). I'd like to recommend here a couple of songs by a Bulgarian songstress and, as I suppose, these music pieces would correspond (in the general mood and tonation) to those presented by you. Let's see if I'm right:
  1. ImageImageImage Росица Кирилова (Rossi Kirilova) - Тишина (Silence) [1983]
  2. ImageImageImage Росица Кирилова (Rossi Kirilova) - Много причини има (There are many reasons) [2011]

The first thing I notice is that there is hardly any difference between the two voices despite the fact that there is a time gap of almost 3 decades between the two!

I would say I prefer the first song, mainly because of its touching melody and the passionate vocal of the songstress. But the live performance in the second MV is also very nice.

This energetic pop song sounds very good mainly because of the perfectly tuned voice of the songstress and the catchy rhythm around which the whole melody has been "wrapped". The video clip is also eye-catching but a bit exaggerated choreography may seem funny in a few decades (if not even years) - take into consideration the example of the Twist that seems very funny for a contemporary spectator. Well, nobody here can compare to you in composing such micro-stories based on the song lyrics, this is just a brilliant example that proves it explicitly. Image Smile

To me, the first song of the presented three is the best one - again the voice of the singer creates a very special atmosphere around the melody and the lyrics. I like it a lot! Smile

And here something interesting. The first of the following songs is a Polish original song entitled "Jesienny pan" ("Autumnal Man"). The second recommendation is a Japanese version of it performed at Sopot International Song Festival (Poland, 1968):
  1. ImageImageImage Krystyna Konarska - Jesienny Pan (Autumnal Man)
  2. ImageImageImage Miki Nakasone 仲宗根美樹 - Warszawa no koi [1968]

Thank you very much for your kind remarks. But I really need to be honest with you -- I just randomly chose these songs and I did not really know what their lyrics were about. Wink
