The third and last music piece on the presented list captures my full attention. I would say it is the best of your recent recommendations. Top-notch taste! Wink

I have to agree with YONG! MHajduk, I've listened to this song many times today and hear something different each time. At times a complicated/syncopated mixture of tunes, and sometimes a "simple" beautiful Andean tune! What a pleasure!!

Thanks!

I prefer the first and the last two songs of the presented list of recommendations. "24-7" by Cagnet is simply exceptionally relaxing and refreshing whereas the songs in Russian are greatly moving due to the meaningful lyrics and sweet melodies. Wink

For the first time I heard "Encuentros" when listened to compact cassette with songs by the Peruvian band Rumi Llacta. It was about twenty years ago and the melody was so unique and beautiful that I have remembered it since that time. Wink But in fact my very first contact with Andean music can be dated back to the 1992 when I bought an original compact cassette directly from the members of the Bolivian group Sequia (they visited Poland that time).

Here is the scan of the cassette cover:

Today I'd like to present a handful of nice and catchy music pieces by the two Breton songstresses whose other creations have been already recommended here in this thread:
  1. ImageImageImage Cécile Corbel - Entendez-vous
  2. ImageImageImage Cécile Corbel - La lettre
  3. ImageImageImage Nolwenn Leroy - Limitless

The leading melody is quite nice and refreshing however the drums and the vocal sound a bit too harsh to me. Wink

I think that the following Viking/folk metal songs are held in a similar style:
  1. ImageImageImage Falkenbach - Vanadis
  2. ImageImageImage Falkenbach - ... The Ardent Awaited Land

Limitless, the third and final song on the presented list, is definitely my type, though I wish the songstress had short hair when taking her album's cover photo. Nice recommendations. Wink
