Clubbed To Death 2

Didn't know there was a remake:

PS: Skip to 1:00 for the first song. That's where it starts. IDK why.

This is not my cup of tea. But it is definitely unique:

This song appears to manifest some melody features characteristic for Tibetan music pieces, at least I hear it that way. Sublime even haunted voice of the singer and sentimental instrumental backing create a truly good effect. Smile

This is a superb example of the early 80's music style. I'd compare this track with the famous Polish hit by Krystyna Prońko. See if you can hear the same similarities as I've noticed:Wink

I'd say that there are a few Chinese songs / melodies I can always recognize because of their specific nature and this one is a perfect example. I don't know what exactly makes them so distinguishable. Maybe characteristic accords, sequences of notes or an overall mood but it's undeniable fact. Wink

Both songs are sweet and melodious but I slightly prefer the second one. Smile

I must have heard it some time ago, certainly I must. Wink

Talking of British vocalists, I'm very curious if you would like songs by the young British songstress, Kyla La Grange. I have to admit that her voice and unique instrumental arrangements of her music creations just drive me crazy. Razz Here you have examples of songs by Kyla (in Soundcloud, I don't like YouTube videos associated with these songs):
  1. ImageImageImage Kyla La Grange - Cut Your Teeth
  2. ImageImageImage Kyla La Grange - The Knife

Today I'd like to recommend a handful of songs by the Oceanic music group, Te Vaka (I presented some of their music pieces before in this thread):

  2. ImageImageImage Te Vaka - Papa E
  3. ImageImageImage Te Vaka - Sei malelosa

one of the best from michael jackson,

Michael Jackson - Love Never Felt So Good
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJDdBbgJafU

Quote:
The original version only featured Jackson's vocals, handclaps and a piano, played by Anka. In 1984,

i hope i could retrieve and listen to this original version in coming few days.
