Both instrumental compositions are greatly sublime and touching. If my memory serves me right they were recommended here, in this thread, some time ago hence I recognized them at once, after a few first notes. Smile

This is a very good song, I like the songstress way of singing as well as the quite meaningful lyrics. I guess it was not easy to fit such kind of text to the melody that apparently wasn't meant for it. Smile

The melody of the song reminds me of something, sounds familiar but I'm not sure what I can compare with it. Maybe something from the Faye Wong repertoire or maybe Dream Theater (if I remember correctly this way we can translate the Chinese name of the female HK duo, I can't recall their original name). Smile

The third music piece on the presented list is quite catchy. I just wish the instrumental backing could be a bit "softer". Overall, it is a very nice recommendation. Wink

Interesting, there was a time, a few years ago, when I wanted to recommend this wonderful track but for some reasons I didn't do it. Wink

The rhythm (especially in the beginning part) of this song somehow resembles Zouk in my opinion what is a bit surprising for the Japanese music piece like that. Very nice recommendation. Smile

Here in this song we can hear one of the strongest Japanese female voices that is very characteristic also due to its specific tone, spanning from dark and low to quite high and sharp. Superb recommendation, indeed. Smile

Today I'd like to present a couple of songs by Jeanette Dimech, a Spanish songstress, known mainly due to her greatest hit "Porque te vas", a music theme used in Carlos Saura's film "Cría Cuervos" ("Raise Ravens"). I think that other creations by this songstress are equally good as the mentioned one, check for yourselves:

  2. ImageImageImage Jeanette - Escucha

Both are very nice recommendations. I slightly prefer the second one on the presented list, which sounds a bit more catchy to me.

Having said that, I would say the following hit, recommended by a wise forum member four years ago, is still the best of Jeanette:

Jeanette - Porque te vas

All of the aforementioned music recommendations are exquisite but the first three deserve a special comment. Songs from the first to the third one are sung by singers with outstanding, characteristic voices. I'd say that I've never heard before so many unique timbres of voice collected in one place. The melodies of the first two songs are truly lovely whereas the third video makes a great impression also due to physical appearance of the songstress gifted with big, dark eyes. Wink

I have found the following songs accidentally while looking for some other music pieces. Referring to the second one, when I was listening to it for the first time I couldn't rid off an impression that it must be the voice of Teresa Teng but certainly that it's only some "convergence" caused by the same manner of singing and fact that Tong Li was inspired by Teresa Teng style (such kind of info you may find in Wikipedia). I hope you'll like these music recommendations, enjoy!
  1. ImageImageImage 刀郎 (Dao Lang) - 西海情歌 (Love Song of the West Sea)
  2. ImageImageImage 童麗 (Tong Li) - 又見雨夜花 (See rainy night flowers again)

The first song on the presented list is actually very good. Songs by 刀郎 (Dao Lang) have been repeatedly presented on this thread by a wise forum member. The following is an example:

手心里的温柔 (Dao Lang-gentleness in hand)
