Very nice song. Reminds me of the following Cantonese classic:

黃宝欣 & 鄭敬基﹣酒杯敲龬琴

Thanks for your recommendation. While rock music may not be my cup of tea, it is always nice to have different genres of music in this thread.

Here is a music piece with a "mask-related" title:

Referring to the birds, I have another problem with them. This winter I decided to help them and feed all birds that visited my garden in order to use this specific "biological weapon" (especially tits / chickadees) against mosquitos and other stinging and biting insects. I thought that I could stop feeding them with all those fat balls, sunflower and other seeds when the spring will come and plants will create fruits, but it's quite opposite. "Mosquito killers" fled away and there left only Eurasian tree sparrows, pigeons and European greenfinches. They reproduced greatly and still expect me to feed them, well... Confused
Bro, better use some mosquito insecticides or take some natural mosquito control measures. Wink
Yes, I know but insecticides aren't a good solution I think (I don't trust them despite of all those researches that say those chemicals are safe for birds). I'm also aware about positive role of dragonflies, there are some but a bit less than in the previous year. Accordingly to the geranium citrosa, yeah, I've heard about their features and planted a few of them in various places in the garden. Smile

All presented Japanese songs give me a special and refreshing feel. Each of them differs from the others in style and climate but all are very good. Smile

Hello,

Here is a song by Beach House, a dream pop duo formed in 2004. The band consists of French-born Victoria Legrand and Baltimore native Alex Scally.

Beach House - Myth
I would classify this music piece as a sentimental and reflexive because of the unearthly and "cold" melody and effect of reverberation that creates an impression of recording inside some empty chambers. Wink

I remember how big impression it made on me when I heard this song for the first time on this forum. Still, it's something that gives me some goosebumps on my back. Wink

Yes, I remember this song (it was presented by me here over a year ago), however the version mentioned by you has got a completely new video clip that I haven't seen before. Wink Excellent choice. Smile

I like both music pieces because Anthony Wong's interpretation makes them absolutely unique and outstanding. In the first composition we can notice intentional use of dissonances that create an atmosphere of anxiety and uncertainty but only such artist as Anthony Wong is able to "reconstruct" such kind of difficult melodic lines and give it an internal logic. The second song in some parts sounds like classical blues but in fact it has absolutely genuine features, again thanks to singer's emotional interpretation. Smile

Very interesting instrumental track somehow reminds me of Arken Abdullah's Andalusian-like guitar compositions I recommended here some time ago. Here you have some examples of creations by this Uyghur musician:

The first of presented songs is undoubtedly beautiful and heart-touching but I slightly prefer the second one as it is catchy and full of energy. I'd like to listen to more music pieces like that. Wink

If my memory serves me right, I must have heard this song before. Quite representative example for the disco music of 80's (in this case of its "Oriental" branch, of course). Smile

Dr F recommendation and your excellently chosen response remind me of some Mongolian songs that are extraordinary mix of traditional throat singing and modern beat. See if you like it:
