Here is a brilliant cover of one of my favorite songs:

Just Give Me A Reason by Megan Nicole and Jason Chen

If I remember correctly, you recommended another (studio) version of this song here in this thread some time ago. Watching this particular performance I was wondering whether the lyrics was meant as a kind of "manifest" for LGBT people or it's just so universal that everyone can understand it in own way. Concluding from the audience reactions the song had been well received and Zara Larsson wasn't there just by a chance.

I have to admit that I may never fully understand problems, dilemmas and motivations of LGBT people (this is rather kind of "hermetic" world for the rest of society) but at least I have had a chance to learn to respect and accept those people thanks to the music creations of such artists as Anthony Wong, Bell Nuntita and Freddie Mercury to name only a few.

BTW, I have noticed that Anthony Wong, your all-time idol, is improbably productive as a social activist, I receive everyday in my Facebook news feed tonnes of posts that present him participating in numerous protests, meetings, actions and performances. Sometimes I wonder if he has enough time to create new music works if he is so busy fighting for a better world. Wink

I must have heard this song before, it's quite melodious and the way the songstress interprets it is very characteristic. Wink

Well, in my opinion the aforementioned song is the best of your set of recommendations. I would dare to say that the cover version is even better than original by P!nk. There is no need to mention that both singers have got fine vocals, I especially admire their emotional interpretation where the continuous lyrics transforms into a greatly interesting dialogue. Superb music choice. Smile

Today I'd like to recommend a couple of very nice and melodious songs by Paula Fernandes, a Brazilian songstress:
  1. ImageImageImage Paula Fernandes, Leonardo - Tocando Em Frente
  2. ImageImageImage Paula Fernandes - Jeito De Mato

Yeah, I remember this left-handed musician, repeatedly recommended by a wise forum member in this thread. Very nice recommendations. Wink

Well, I did not know that you have a facebook account. Maybe that is the reason you spend much less time here these days. Wink

Well, not exactly. I have been involved in remodelling my garden and things closely related to home economics (finding ways to fit the outer world to my goals / plans / ideas). Wink

I've been on Facebook since January but only recently I took part in a few discussions. Smile

All songs of the presented set are very good but I prefer the second one the most. "Superman's Song" is interesting mainly due to the characteristic timbre of the vocalist's voice. The last music piece is a neat instrumental rendition of the renowned theme. But the best in my opinion is the track by Five For Fighting; the light and easily memorizable melody, wide range of the singer's voice combined with the non-trivial lyrics gives a truly impressive effect. As it is shortly after the full moon today, I'd like to recommend a couple of songs somehow related to the Moon theme:
  1. ImageImageImage The Mavericks - Blue Moon
  2. ImageImageImage Tomasz Makowiecki - Dziecko księżyca (Moonchild)

And another song, the video of which can be described as follows: "the longer time, the stronger entanglement". Wink

Both are very nice music pieces, and I almost thought that they were recommended by Picnic. Good music taste! Wink

While the MV may look a bit odd to me, the music piece itself is very nice. Thanks for recommending such a unique composition. Wink

Hehe, seems that the Polish Disco Polo music genre is also popular there, in Ukraine? The song is a great hit of 90's and had been frequently aired on the radio and played in disco parties. Wink
