Raju Pariyar and Bishnu Majhi - Jhim Jhim Sanu
The mehndi decoration that we can see on the bride's feet at the beginning of the MV somehow immediately led me to the music of Maghreb, where similar wedding customs are common as well.

Here you have a Berber song that also is characterized by a catchy rhythm:Wink

Here you have two pop songs sung in Persian language by Kamran and Hooman Jafari:

Very young -- I mean the female singers, of course. And I guess sleepsleep would like this MV very much! Wink

I like the first song on your list, which, I believe, also belongs to the "Space Music" thread. Nice recommendation. Wink

MHajduk,

Wow! What a beautiful song. The opening flute sounded Chinese to me, and later, a Celtic sounding "penny whistle" and accordion. The video is truly beautiful.

The singers style of dress had me wondering: Middle Eastern, Turkish?

Thoroughly enjoyable!

Thanks,

farrier

Both songs are extraordinarily moving, mind inspiring and melodious. Despite of the fact that the second song is quite catchy I prefer the first one a little bit more. I must have heard it before yet it's still utterly touching to me. Smile

I'm glad you like it. Yes, I have had similar impressions when I was listening to it, all those Chinese and Celtic motifs seem to be perfectly blended here.

The songstress' dress style seems to be inspired by traditional clothes of Turkic nations. Alsou was born in Tatarstan, near the Ural mountains, so there, in her dress, most probably are present embroidery motifs also taken from the folklore of some Finno-Ugric and other Siberian nations. Just my guess. Wink

Here you have another Alsou song that was recommended by me some time ago in this thread:Wink

Extremely lyrical song, creates very nice, chamber atmosphere. Smile Somehow the voice of Jacky Cheung here reminds me of that of Sherten, a Tibetan singer. Wink

I slightly prefer the first song on your list. And I think the songstress should consider a career switch -- she has what it takes to become a top-notch model. Wink
