most of the other songs I found on YouTube by her were very pleasant to listen to.

If I had to choose among Mary Hopkin songs, I would pick something like this:Wink
The presented is a very nice oldie, though I prefer the following by the renowned songstress:

Mary Hopkin - Streets Of London

The second track is especially interesting to me because it is somehow closely related in mood and "aquatic" theme to this composition by one of the greatest Polish composers of the 20th century, Karol Szymanowski:Wink
Frankly, I am not particularly impressed by the presented music piece. Maybe I lack the taste of classical music.

The presented violin play is melancholy enough to make me, a fan of such music, lachrymose. I guess it would be the perfect theme for my funeral.

Nice recommendation. Though I prefer the following by the songstress:

LORDE - Everybody Wants To Rule The World
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaVA6sgOpws

In fact, I find the old version even better:

Tears For Fears - Everybody Wants To Rule The World

This is a very sentimental song performed in a greatly emotional way, good recommendation. Smile

The choruses of the song are very catchy, not only due to the melody that easily get stuck in the listener's head but also thanks to the clear and sonorous voice of the vocalist. Smile

Nice songs, though I got the following message for a couple of the recommendations:

"The uploader has not made this video available in your country.
Sorry about that."

These two of your recent recommendations are the most melodious and musically refined in my humble opinion. Nice music pieces. Smile

Yeah, I remember most of these songs. To me, the first, the fourth and the fifth tracks are the best sounding ones. Generally, all of them represent similar mood and style, good choice. Smile
