Monty Python's songs are always full of specific, ironic humor. Quite refreshing recommendation. Wink

When I saw today's Google doodle for the first time I immediately thought about Montgolfier brothers, the pioneers of aeronautics. This association led me somehow to the music group that may have nothing to do with aeronautics except the name but creates very interesting music:Wink

When I listened to this music piece, I almost thought that it had to be a recommendation by Picnic. It seems that your music taste has expanded quite a lot! Wink

"moody" Indeed!

I had to get out my vinyl copy of "Blue Jays"!

Thanks for these songs, which are new to me, and for the trip down memory lane! Many pleasant memories associated with the Moody Blues!

Thanks,

farrier

One of the best of your recent recommendations, bro! The slightly-hoarse vocal makes the song more passionate and appealing. Very impressive song choice! Wink

The group "Boys" reached the peak of its popularity in the 90's. They are one of the flagships of the genre called "disco polo", maybe even they should be considered a symbol of this genre. Smile

The singing manner of the vocalists somehow reminds me of music creations by Demis Roussos, it's a highly emotional track. Wink

I signed my "forked-up" post:

"Signed,

Inadequate in Mississippi"

This made me think of one of my favorite John Prine songs, not quite "Beautiful", but funny:

I think that country music can be called a true voice of folks, hence lyrics of country songs are more straightforward and touch deeper listeners' hearts. Indeed, the text of the presented song is funny although, as I suppose, there are used some phrases and idioms more clear to American people than other listeners. Wink

It's very hard to find songs with lyrics that won't be provocative or irritating for someone. Only one in twenty or thirty songs has got the text that may be acceptable in the preliminary "self-censorship". If the text is good often the video is stupid or disgusting and again I have to choose something else. All in all, the overall selection process is highly time-consuming...

Here you have a superb Polish oldie that has got a strange text, so don't look for any hidden meaning here:Wink

Remarkably clear--for YouTube--and powerful "Techno" thumper! Enjoyed the production quality. Also, an interesting choice in earrings.

Thanks,

farrier

This song is simply superb -- definitely the best of your recent recommendations, bro! The authentic vocals of the duet blend in perfect harmony. Top-notch music taste. Wink

Very nice recommendation. Reminds me of the following Cantonese hit:

Dear Jane - 到此為止 (The End)

Bro, I think you are a bit too sensitive about the lyrics of your recommendations. To me, most of the presented songs here are sung in alien languages, and I seldom bother to look up what the lyrics actually mean. Catchy melody is my top priority. Wink

The arrangement of this song sounds truly fresh and unique to me. Nice recommendation. Wink
