nice song, no harm to listen it twice =)
Seems that I must have heard it back in 80's during one of those evening dancing parties held in summer on the shore of the lakes Wiżajny, Garbaś or Tałty. Razz I was a scout those times... Wink

I've got to know something funny about the "Joy" ensemble: they recorded also two songs titles of which may be interesting to you. The first of them is "Lost In Hong Kong", the second one is linked below:Wink

I suppose that with time fewer and fewer people in Poland live in such conditions. Wink

The video had been recorded in Open Air Village Museum in Lublin, see here: http://www.skansen.lublin.pl/en/1-al-historia.html

This is a beautiful and heart touching song, indeed. Smile

Referring to the lyrics, in my garden I have about 15 years old linden tree (I planted it in 2000 as an about 2 years old seedling) and two oaks probably in the same age but "planted" naturally by jays that like to eat acorns and are known as acorn hoarders. Wink

I truly admire (at least part of) your way of living. As I mentioned earlier, it is a huge luxury here in HK to have a backyard garden, not to mention planting trees there! Wink

Rock songs are in general not my type. However, the presented song has got a unique instrumental arrangement, which indeed sounds quite catchy to me. Nice recommendation. Wink

Beautiful voices, I have listened to this piece twice. During the first listening I was surprised how fluently they migrated from one song to another. Played the song again to catch all the interesting moments I might had missed during the first time. Superb recommendation. Smile

I could not believe that this music piece is over 3 decades old. An oldie like this is truly a masterpiece. Top-notch recommendation, bro! Wink

Here are a couple of beautiful renditions by a genuine singer:

BTW, An Ping's vocal reminds me of the following Russian singer (recommended by a wise man a long long time ago in this thread):

Vitas - Ave Maria

Yeah, indeed, An Ping has got an amazing voice, one for a million. I have to admit it after listening to the first song. The second music piece moved me but for another reason: I heard it sung by Teresa Teng whom I admire as a absolutely unique songstress. Smile

Chinese can say now that they have their own Vitas. Maybe some day also Russians would say that their Vitas is a Russian An Ping. Wink

Here you have a Russian song that is quite new and as I suppose you may like it:I hope that the Russian word "терять" and English "to lose" have similar meanings although I can feel here some subtle differences I can't even explain. Never mind.Wink

Two powerful vocals in perfect harmony plus a sentimental melody equals nothing but perfection. Another top-notch recommendation by you, bro!

BTW, I found the authentic singing voice of the (male) singer quite familiar. Have you presented any songs by him earlier in this thread? Rolling Eyes Wink
