He sings like real professionalist, very good voice!

I expected that this man rather will sing something from hard rock with hoarse low voice... what a surprise! Wink

This moody and beautiful song makes me really sad... because reminds some negative historical episodes of the last few centuries. Sad

Here you have some examples of the Vietnamese music. I found these clips very interesting not only because of incredible sonorous and strong voices of the singers but also because of their humanism (second song) and aesthetic values (first clip). I hope you like these compositions Wink :

Yeah, sleepsleep, this song in both versions sounds very good. I know Jacky Cheung's voice since YONG presented some songs performed by this artist. Smile

Such kind of music gives very positive feelings and is quite good when you need to concentrate on some intellectual work, IMHO. Smile

I think that style of this song performed by Uzbek female singer Anora fits to compositions recommended by you:

Well, of course I know "Modern Talking" hits... In those days (in 80's) I liked especially "You're my heart you're my soul". Wink

This is really talented man - everybody was listening to it in the complete silence and with a great attention. Smile

I wish to recommend today two songs of British female pop/folk singer and songwriter Tanita Tikaram: I suppose that this quotation from Wikipedia would be interesting for sleepsleep Wink :
Wikipedia about Tanita Tikaram wrote:
Tikaram was born in Münster, Germany, the daughter of a Malaysian mother Fatimah Rohani and an Indo-Fijian father Pramod Tikaram.

These songs remind me (in the general style) classic disco from the 70's. Smile

My today's recommendation becomes from Turkey. I suppose that some of you will like this sentimental song performed by Candan Erçetin, Turkish singer and songwriter (sometimes called 'Turkish Edith Piaf'):Very Happy

YONG, could you tell us more about this song? I suppose that is soundtrack from some movie, right? Both versions are very sentimental and even sad. In the Cantonese version choir sounds better, but male voice in the Japanese one is more natural IMHO. Wink

comic => TV series => movie

Actually, it was the song of the TV series.

MHajduk wrote:

The story, set in ancient Japan, was about the touching relationship between a father, who's an assassin, and his three-year-old son.

The song was about the three-year-old son waiting for his father to return. But his father did not come back at all. The poor little boy, with a blank mind, could only feel the cold wind and hear the sound of the rain.

The "speech" part was the father talking/whispering to himself:
When I kill, I need to conceal my tears.
If I can go home, it's so good.
But if I can't, my son will be waiting for me alone in the rain.
My son, my son, ..., he's only three.

Very, very touching indeed.
