Personally, I prefer songs which glorify life (this short time between two infinities) in all its aspects. Famous Uzbek singer Shahzoda has many such dynamic and catchy songs in her repertoire. Here you have two examples of them:

Inspired by the Space Music thread, I searched for some space-related Japanese cartoons from the 80s. Luckily, I found the following two Cantonese covers of songs from 千年女王 (Millenia Queen):

露雲娜 - 千年女王

露雲娜 - 傳說

Here is one more classic by the same singer:

露雲娜 - 豆芽夢

Enjoy. Razz

From the presented songs performed by 露雲娜 (Rowena Cortes) I liked especially second for its interesting instrumental background (guitar and strings) and lyric vocal. This song tells us for sure some romantic story, we know that even if we don't understand a word - Rowena's interpretation is very suggestive. Wink Third song is also good, seems to be composed in ABBA-like style IMO, but a bit too sentimental to me. Wink

Rowena Cortes' voice and general climate of the melodies remind me slightly (it was my first and instantaneous association) songs performed by the Polish female singer Anna Jantar. Here you have one of the biggest of her hits:

In fact, the song is about the legend (傳說) of Millenia Queen, one of the main characters of that Japanese cartoon. It is not very romantic indeed.

Yeah, their voices are a bit similar.

Indeed, i like this version most.
Just for the history, the original Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) was written for Cher in 1965.

What are words worth?
What are words worth? - words

Words in papers, words in books
Words on tv, words for crooks
Words of comfort, words of peace
Words to make the fighting cease
Words to tell you what to do
Words are working hard for you
Eat your words but dont go hungry
Words have always nearly hung me Rolling Eyes

Wordy rappinghood

Google translator says:

"Ma va a cagare" = "But goes to shit".

DJ Mauretto, today is Holy Friday you should remember about it and not curse (if you are a Christian). BTW, every Friday is also sacred day for Muslims. Confused
