Well, well, YONG, this is not something you used to recommend, for sure. Wink I like the beat of both songs and the lyrics of the second track as well. Smile

Talking of a good beat... here you have a song that I heard for the first time somewhere in 2007. Well, a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then... Wink

I've listened to this ballad with pleasure, it calms me down a bit and believe me, I truly need it these days - my cat Mizar is seriously ill and vets say that the prognoses are bad. Sad He is in a professional veterinary clinic now... I'm authentically fed up with all those deaths of my pets that happen almost every year. I'm greatly scared with such situations and always blame myself that I could be much better for my animal friends... Well, some of them are even 13 years old but Mizar is only 6½...

The older I am the more painful every loss is. I don't understand it because adult people should be more "tough" than kids, in my case it is quite opposite...

Bro, I am sorry to hear such bad news. I will keep my fingers crossed.

You know, I visit the following shelter-for-cats site frequently

http://meowspace.mysinablog.com/

(and I posted the link in the "Cat Pots" thread quite a few times). Sometimes there is good news -- cats get adopted, adopted cats live happily with their masters, and so on -- but very often there is bad news -- some unknown infectious disease again claims the lives of innocent cats pending adoption, street cats get beaten up or even tortured, and so forth. I guess we all have to learn to accept those facets, good or bad, of living.

Let us hope for the best. Wink

Mizar passed away today at 7 am. The worst thing about all of this is that vets have no idea what happened. The neurological symptoms were caused, as they say, by some intoxication (somewhere outside of the area under my control, i.e. house and backyard) but it doesn't explain everything. I don't understand this whole thing and can't accept it.

I am sorry for your loss. May I quote from a wise fasman to comfort you?

"Mizar is going to appear in your dream and bid farewell with you. After that, there will be no more pain; only the good moments you once spent with him will be left in your memory."

Do not blame yourself for things that are not under your control. Very often, we have no other choice but let nature take its course.

Unique rendition of the immortal classic. I got used to think that this music piece is somehow naturally intended for male performers (maybe because of the Eric Clapton, who wrote this song and other musicians that were mostly of male gender Wink) but this particular example proves that female voice fits to it perfectly. Smile

Here you have another female guitarist playing another beautiful music piece:Wink

A top-notch interpretation of a Chinese classic that I recommended here in this thread a long long time ago. Excellent recommendation, bro! Wink

All of your today's music recommendations are perfect but if I had to choose I would pick the second song since Evanescence is my favorite American band. Wink The first music piece is very interesting from the music point of view, I like especially guitar passages there. The third song is completely new to me but I have to admit that the singer's vocal has got really interesting timbre. Smile
