I found this song almost completely accidentally looking for other Brazilian music pieces and since that moment I have listened to it from time to time. I think that it's really worth listening despite of the fact some of you (as non-smokers) may find the clip a bit irritating (this video was apparently sponsored by one of the cigar producers). Wink Well, I'm non-smoker too, but I treat this video rather as a presentation of a local tradition, so no problem here. Razz Wink

Very catchy Brazilian samba from bahiadebrazil YouTube channel, evidently related to this site: http://www.canta-bahia.com/com/index.php
(where you can also see how the mentioned clip was shot):Enjoy! Very Happy

All those music recommendations are good, but the second one sounds the best to me - it's very dynamic and rich in music motifs. Very Happy The first track seems to be based on a known melody, I must have heard it somewhere before. Wink

Here's one in Swedish that I like mainly because of the lyrics:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHP_hcvbY9c

The meaning of the lyrics is basically that nobody will cry you when you die, nobody will miss what you do and no matter how hard you try nobody will notice when you bought a new sweater. Hahaha it's kind of depressing really - but I like it Razz

There's also an English version, but I'm not sure it sounds as good. Her accent isn't excatly perfect and the translation looses some of the lyric value - but at least you get a sense of what it's about:

This song is definitely about me - no one will cry when I die! Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

What a cheerful song! Wink

While one of the forum members may not like boy bands in general, I believe the following may be regarded as an exception. See if I am correct. Wink

To me both versions are equally good from the music point of view. Wink

Referring to the song lyrics... well, listening to such kind of texts won't improve anybody's mood but only can make one's depression deeper and harder to overcome. At least I see it this way. Wink

This is an excellent performance! I've listened to them with pleasure, really. Very Happy Their deep voices sound fully professional despite of the fact they are quite young singers. Wink

From what I was able to find in the Internet, the presented Welsh anthem-like song is called "Calon Lân" ("A Pure Heart") and usually sung before almost every rugby match involving the Welsh national team. Wink

Here you have something different; joyful and energetic song by the Indonesian alternative pop band Nidji:The video clip was produced by one of the largest music companies in Indonesia, Musica Studios, and published on (apparently) their YouTube channel musicastudios. For those, who are interested in the "lirik" i.e. lyrics of the song, I can recommend this link. Wink

Yeah, this song rocks. Smile If my memory serves me right the same music piece was performed in the aforementioned RTHK 2 live program last Sunday (along with other classics such as Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven" and Lionel Richie's "Hello"). Wink

If I had to compare style of the band to others, I would say that they play like "The Scorpions" or even, maybe, "Dire Straits". Wink

Interesting and nice hard rock song, i see a lot of rock influences, europe, cinderella, whitesnake, skid row, or even Marillion.

I prefer the latter of the presented couple because it has a bit more dynamic tempo than the former one. Smile

This is a truly charming and pleasant song. I wonder if it is possible that she is the same songstress who performs some pieces during the "2000 靚歌再重聚" live program aired every Sunday. The voices of both songstresses sound similar... but I wouldn't bet that they are identical. Wink
