Haha ... the style of this music piece is different from that of your typical recommendations. I am a bit surprised. Wink

To me, this one is a something in the style of 80's. Smile Good tune. Wink

Well guys, I forgot the name of a classical music piece probably written by a Norwegian composer. Something with morning and storm in the title. Very well known and very catchy. Could you help me? Smile
Sorry. I know very little about classical music. Embarassed

But I like the following music piece very much:

Edvard Grieg - Morning Mood

Wink
I like Edvard Grieg's entire "Peer Gynt" suite - it's a great set of the gorgeous music pieces. Wink

I think this is the first song that make me admit that PF is genius.
Sure, maybe they are not the most technically acurate band in the world, but still a genius, nonetheless.

I'll need "edfed's" help in meeting this young lady, as,
I think that she is French.

Well, Yardman, from what I have got to know, she is a Canadienne living just around a corner, in Montreal, Quebec, so you have a real chance to meet her. Wink

To me, the most noticeable thing (beside excellent drummer's skills) in this MV is her behavior - seems that she loves it and the music is her authentic passion. Smile

The beginning of this music piece is very good, indeed. Smile If I had to describe my impressions I would say that their music is "warm", "dense" and "viscid" like a good sauce. Wink

Yes, I remember this utterly sentimental song. Due to the characteristic, easily recognizable melody and meaningful lyrics it can be named one of the music "flagships" of its epoch. Wink

Listening to jazz is always like taking part in a creative process, you can see how artists "make" music in real time. Wink

Indeed especially here - world's top improvisers.

I'd like to share one more music genre I love to listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6QTuXaxU28&feature=related

This is one of Paco's most catchy pieces - a good one to introduce those who have never heard flamenco. To tell you the truth, if I had to choose only one music album I could listen to on a deserted island I would choose "Cositas buenas" by Paco de Lucia Smile

I saw Paco live and the crash with mysterious world of flamenco really changed the way I see art and world overall Smile I highly recommend you to take part in such an event.

Thanks!
The vast majority of the credits should go to MHajduk, as he regularly recommends songs and music pieces originated from the hidden corners of the world. Without him, my music world would have been very limited. His recommendations let me know there is a big big world out there! Razz

Greetings music friends,

3 classic tracks by Rainbow's first album (Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow 1975), music that gives me the chills since kid.

Rainbow - Catch The Rainbow
Rainbow - The Temple Of The King
Rainbow - Man on the silver mountain

Enjoy.
