High Hopes - Pink Floyd

I never paid attention to Pink Floyd until I heard this song. Wish I knew them earlier...
Really good thing with slightly gloomy lyrics but the guitar solos and acoustic instrumental ending on strings are superb. Wink

His interpretation of this music piece is full of passion and warm emotions. Sounds like something between Vivaldi compositions and ecstatic Dervish dance. Here you can listen to something a bit more meditative but also filled with pulsating rhythm:Wink

This is a very optimistic song, like a sunny calm day over the shore of a sea. Wink

Three songs referring to the culture, history and language of the Kabyle people, i.e. Berber people living in the north of Algeria:FYI, one of the most recognizable French football players, Zinedine Zidane, is of Kabyle Berber descent. Wink

If I were asked to pick one from these three fantastic music pieces, I would be in big trouble - all three are gorgeously melodious. Excellent song choices! Razz Wink

I'm not going to talk for the Great Absentee (i.e. Picnic) here but to me it's a really good piece of music, shares the same climate as Christmas carols and has a catchy heart-warming rhythm. Wink

I like these three. They distinguish from the others due to the easily noticeable rhythm and clear melody line. Wink Joey Yung in the last of the aforementioned songs is definitely unbeatable with her unique voice. Smile
