Here are a small set of fantastic string music pieces for my fasm friends:

Thao Nguyen Xanh - Sad Romance
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u69CkyLJUKU

Nuttin' but stringz - Winner
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxIr_wHrnds

Hong Kong Pure Strings - Pearl of the East
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_zwfjbRrYI

Wink
I bet I've heard somewhere the first piece but anyway it sounds perfect. Smile The second one presents features of march music (I noticed it during the second listening) arranged in a hard-rock manner. Wink The third recommendation is most soothing to me; probably the best of all the three (reminds me a bit of some English melodies, BTW). Smile

One more. Here is a catchy song by a talented female Japanese artist 松隆子:

松隆子 - 夢的點滴

This song is truly good - my thoughts flew far away during the listening to the melody and watching the clip. Wink

You made my evening, Picnic, really. Smile I've listened to both compositions with pleasure.

Eleni Karaindrou - Wedding Waltz (Το βαλς του γάμου)
I like the melody flow here. Undoubtedly it's a one of the most "catchy" waltzes I've ever listened to. Wink

I can't resist to add one more tune, this time from Sacral Reason, a mediative & emotional melody. It lowers my heart beats every time i listen to it.

Sacral reason - One moment as the whole life
Completely "non-invasive" but enchanting instrumental composition, superb choice. Smile

Nice to read that MHajduk, i try my best you know Razz

Those are refreshing, i listen both with pleasure MHajduk, i had no choice but to mark down the artist for later time.

As usual, few selected tracks,

Giorgos Hatzinasios - Psixi kai sarka (Greek movie score) (1974)

Jon & Vangelis - I Hear You Now (Short Stories) (1979)

Sequentia - Don't Surrender (Lukas Termena Chillout mix) (2011)

Craig Armstrong - This Love (featuring Coucteau Twins lead vocalist Elizabeth Fraser) (1998)

Tiero (Anatoliy Sjutkin) - Childhood (Kaleidoscope Of Illusions) (2009)

Serene music theme. Smile Improbable how all these soundtracks are characteristic for the time when they were recorded. Such kind of songs behave like "time capsules" - you listen to such track and you immediately are shifted backwards in time to the 70's. Wink

Hehe, excellent representative of the golden era of electronic music. Smile

Wow, both the instrumental backing and visual layer of this MV are very impressive! I like it. Very Happy

I would bet that I heard the same (?) or very similar song performed by Sarah Brightman. Wink

To me, this one sounds like a cold breeze from inside of the refrigerator. Razz Wink

I suppose you may like also this track with video consisting of photos taken in the ruins of Sarmisegetusa, ancient capital of the brave Dacians (since 1995 when I read Polish translation of the book "Dacii" by Hadrian Daicoviciu I have been impressed by the tragic history of the Dacian wars):Enjoy! Smile

Despite its "church-music" feel, this music piece is soothing, calm & positive. One of the best of your recent recommendations. Wink

All your recent recommendations are pretty good but I'll concern only on a few chosen ones with the most interesting melodic features. Wink
YONG wrote:

I've got the "sense" of this composition only after the second listening (the "broken" rhythm imitating heartbeat and all those stringed instruments). Smile
YONG wrote:
巫啟賢 - 心酸的情歌

Superb Latino-like motifs of the "lonely" trumpet (like in the music theme from the Polish movie "Vabank": http://youtu.be/7B4s_ZDf1bo?t=36s )

Beautiful interpretation of the Franz Schubert's Serenade

Sweet & lovely voice. Smile I adore the erhu tune - to me, it's essential for traditional Chinese music. Wink

This one gives me an extraordinary feel, mainly thanks to the unique guitar play. Wink The portraits presented in the video are the most beautiful pastel drawings I've ever seen . Very Happy

This is a genuine vocal virtuosity! In view of the excellent vocal possibilities and artistic interpretation, I could compare him to another outstanding singer - Freddie Mercury. Smile

At first, I thought this music piece was recommended by Picnic because of its electronic backing theme! Definitely one of the best of your recent suggestions. Wink

This one is "closer" to your style. Wink
