I hope so. Wink In this song we can hear very good electric guitar passages: it adds some "pepper" to this lyric song. Smile

OK, now something from Poland. Maciej Silski is a Polish rock singer which won Idol Poland 4 in 2005. I like the way his musical style evolves.

This one is quite catchy, and its arrangement is quite similar to the song I mentioned earlier (陳奕迅 - 與我常在). Wink

Here is another beautiful song.

鄭秀文 (Sammi Cheung) - 終身美麗 (Forever Beautiful)

Enjoy! Wink

Right, I usually try to present here songs which are somehow associated with given by others. Wink

In the Sammi Cheung's "Forever Beautiful" I liked most this strong but delicate vocal and very positive motto of this song: fight against own weakness. Composition with very positive meaning. Smile BTW, I suppose that it's made for some movie or even TV series, am I right?

Something ethereal and calm: song performed by Polish singer Anna Maria Jopek. Her vocal possibilities are amazing (she has an three-octave range of voice).

Yeah, it was the theme song of a movie. Wink

Many more oldies to come ...

Every song from the your last set is good in my opinion, however the sound volume of the first clip isn't sensational (too silent). Wink I liked most the second one - reminds me a Christmas Carol in the climate, it's so "western"... I think that Tom Jones has similar voice. Wink Jacky Cheung's song is also very sublime. First position on the list reminds me an anthem, quite pleasant for listening. I hope that it wouldn't be improper here if I say that I liked also Priscilla Chan's lovable (nice) face and her elegant wearing style. Wink

I wish to present here two compositions. First, "light", was recorded on the beginning of the 80's and reminds me my childhood:Second one says about difficult years after the WWII in Poland. I like very much voice of Edmund Fetting, Polish actor and singer. This is the theme song of the movie "Prawo i pięść" ("The law and the fist") recorded in 1964:

Very nice ballad. Sam Hui has interesting timbre of voice. Sequence with acoustic guitar and strings in the second half of the song is really impressive. Smile

Well, I'm quite sure now that Cantonese or Mandarin fit very good to the music compositions. These languages seem to be very melodic and quite pleasant for the listener. Smile

Some parts of this song (especially choruses) remind me Russian romantic melodies. It's very sentimental, calming song. Smile

Accordingly to the Borsuc's advice, I searched YouTube for some Romanian songs on my own and I've found something interesting (at least for me):Enjoy! Wink

盧冠廷 - 世事何曾是絕對 (You may need to turn up the volume.) This is one of my favourites. Don't miss the last part of the song, which is the best part! Wink

盧冠廷 - 天鳥 This one is very energizing! Very Happy

Very interesting in this song (as in my favourite now Faye Wong's "Hidden certain") is fact that it's based on the waltz dance. 盧冠廷's voice (how his name could be properly "romanized"?) is very sonorous and seems to be younger than singer itself. Wink

Right. Smile It reminds me preparations of the warrior to the important battle. Wink All these repeating "battle-cries" in the choruses... Wink

Seems that you are very sensitive and emotional person - I think it's a good character trait. Very Happy Especially for you: some beautiful waltzes from the Polish movies

I don't care if you are one or you are in multiple "incarnations" Wink, because it's unverifiable for me (this is a specific of the Internet) Wink. As long as our correspondence here will carry on with some dose of netiquette and will be educative (at least for me), I'll be satisfied. Smile

Yes, I especially liked beginning and choruses of this song - it sounds like something between Christian religious songs and Asian folk music. Wink This clip reminds me slightly Charlie Chaplin's movie "The Kid" ("http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Kid_(1921_film)").

One of my "incarnations" mentioned somewhere in this thread that I'm a quiet person. Wink So, in general, rock-and-roll music is not my cup of tea. However, some rock-n-roll songs are so beautiful that they do catch my heart. Here is one example.

Beyond - 真的爱你 (Truly Love You)

Have a nice day! Wink

I suppose that you could like songs performed by one of my favourite Polish artists from the new generation, Janusz Radek. Smile These compositions belong to the genre of "sung poetry", calming and reflective:Enjoy! Wink
