Why all these talented artists self-destruct ? Sad Crying or Very sad
Somebody has said that creation of an art work needs some self-destruction of an artist. I think there is some truth in it - you know, process of creation is conducted inside the artist's mind and new things have to be created on the "ruins" of old ones. Wink
Totally agree. When I drain my very last bit of creativity, I know what to do next. Sad

Nice duet of the clear and strong voices. Although the song is sentimental, I've found it also cheerful and positive. Wink

Wow, man, I like it! Impressive quotations from Confucius' works "interwoven" in the catchy melody. Wink

Seems to be a good starting point for something bigger, requiem-like. Smile

Yeah. Yesterday (Sunday) I used https to access this board via some FREE WiFi connections. The encoding problem might be settings-related. I will try to fix it the coming Sunday. Wink

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

You and MHajduk have a lot of passion and sensitivity for music,
why not try to play an instrument?

I can't speak for MHajduk. Wink

To me, what you said was an overstatement. I do not even understand the lyrics of Nessun dorma! Wink

When I watch an 3-year-old do this, I believe I am too old to begin learning the piano (or any other musical instrument)! I am just slightly younger than you! Sad Wink

This is elementary,
if you start now after six months will do much more Wink

Children do not have the same learning of an adult,
run to buy a guitar or keyboard, so again in six months,
and remember to study at least 5 hours a day.
I started at 27 years and after six months I played the piano all the inventions of Bach..
Now I'm 42 Embarassed

Well, passion is not enough - a bit of talent is also needed. Wink

But from the other hand I have to admit that sometimes songs or some melodic motifs I hear are so beautiful that I feel an irresistible desire to repeat it on some instrument (unfortunately, for now only musical "instrument" I can play is my voice). Wink

Even if I really wanted to find a solution to the Seven Bridges of Königsberg problem, I would not be able to succeed. Sad Wink

What DJ Mauretto wrote is true.

I play fretless bass (I'm not a good bassist though Smile - It's not easy to follow an aim like "practice at least 3 hours a day", but one day I'll start doing it more seriously)

Fretless bass is a beautiful instrument: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYWvMJVHZbo
