People used to say that "the eyes are the mirror of the soul" but I'd rather say that eyes are kind of the "gate to the soul" - our minds are fed mainly through the sight and we can inform others about our intentions and thoughts also through the subtle "play"of looks. Wink There is no picture, no movie that can transmit this intangible impression, hehe...
This is a lovely folk song. Attractive brown eyes too! Razz

The singer's voice is simply extraordinary here, one of the prettiest versions of "Tears in heaven" I've heard. Smile

These songs aren't as much sad as one may expect. Wink If I remember correctly, you presented the latter one here some time ago (the choruses are very characteristic). Smile

Thanks for the explanation. Smile So, "qalo" / "kalo" is the same as "qiz" / "kiz" ("girl, daughter") in Turkic languages. Wink From the word form one may wrongly suppose that "qalo" may mean "black" referring to the similarly sounding "qara" / "kara" in Turkic languages and "kala" in Hindi. Smile

Thank you so much! Wink

The powerful yet tender vocal is simply stunning, though the old fashion clothes look a bit funny to me! Wink

The introduction is quite catchy. Up-tempo & energetic. Nice song choice! Wink
