What's up, my friend? Rolling Eyes
This is a very good cover of the well known hit, maybe the best version I've heard so far. Smile The singers start singing in a blues-like, slow rhythm and end on a pop note, very interesting interpretation. Wink

Oh, no! I think my heart is still full of positive feelings. Razz Wink The problem is much more serious, I'm afraid, and refers to my private existence.

My friend, I would not dig deeper - as it is your private matter. Fight for your survival; I am certain that you CAN make it! Wink

I know both songs very well. Smile I suppose the first one might be an inspiration for Robbie Williams' "Supreme" while the latter one reminds me of this interesting composition (I've found the piano accompaniments quite similar):And something in a completely different mood: WinkCheers! Smile

To me it's rather in a Chopin-like style. Wink Romantic nocturne-like melody combined with picturesque winter images. Smile

[SIGH] It seems that everyone, like me, is struggling to make a living and thus has got no time or is in no mood to come here. Sad Confused

Here you have something utterly melodious and sentimental:
李健 - 故乡山川

Best wishes to everyone! Wink

Sounds a bit like "The House of the Rising Sun" but is sung in a far more refined style. Smile Most probably it's the best song I've heard recently: simple yet by no means trivial, sentimental yet not sad. I really like a flute solo somewhere in the middle. Smile Image

Hehe, amazing, your today's recommendation reminds me of some other song I found some time ago. Here you have two versions of it, both very good in my humble opinion:Cheerio! Wink

Yeah, I notice some similarities in melody. But your suggestion seems more up-tempo and more energetic. Wink

Strange, I haven't listened to it before. Rolling Eyes Brings me this characteristic climate and smell of the 60's "encapsulated" in all these songs, movies and photos from that time. Wink Excellent choice! Smile
