I once read that some one read this whole forum, I think it was bitshifter, I wonder if he skipped this thread... I'm thinking about spamming the 2000th post. It would be so cool to be either the 2000th or the 2010th(since that is the year the post would be made in)

In the meantime, enjoy some Green Onions.

There is still a long way to go before we can reach the 3200th milestone. Wink

Here you have something very fresh yet very familiar to all of us:

Yeah, that's a cool classic. I guess that you, as a green onions lover, may like these photos made by me two years ago: http://board.flatassembler.net/topic.php?p=78587#78587 Wink

To me it sounds somehow "Celtic", shares this specific mysterious and sentimental character. Probably the one of the best recommendations posted here recently. Smile

Utterly placid and soothing. Probably the best recommendation so far! (I am glad that I joined this thread!) Razz

Here is an old song with a brand new interpretation:

Jason Castro - Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Very good, beginning of this song sounds quite like some Andean folk composition. Wink Very Happy

Main action of this music video is taking place even farther than "over the rainbow" - on the Moon Wink :

I like it, quite somnambulistic and unearthly. Wink In the 80's here, in Poland, were artists who created music in similar style:

Superb style, i know a little about this great polish band Maanam.

Something i omit to mention about Cocteau Twins, lyrics are made-up of words plucked at random from the dictionary and scottish phrases!

Very nice piece, tittle refers to the Oscar-winning romantic thriller film The Secret in Their Eyes which music written by Emilio Kauderer but i'm not sure about the name of this track.

Recently i listen a cd called Emotional Landscapes (released 2003) from Norwegian composer and musician Erik Wøllo.

Erik Wøllo - Metaphor
Erik Wøllo - Second Totem

Yeah, good examples of the great relaxation music. Smile I like the second one mainly due to the deep and clear sound of the (electronic) harp. Wink

Nice one 3200th. Traditional native American music and chants combined with modern music instruments. Another one, a real gem CD i own and used to listen often is this one.

An ethereal song with sublime female vocals and beautiful lyrics by Norwegian artist Amethystium.

Feels like I could reach up into dark October skies
Scoop up seven of Orion's stars, hold them like shiny diamonds
Then I turn and return to a world less than I'd like it to be
Strange thoughts staring at the stars on an autumn's night

Amethystium - Autumn Interlude (CD Aphelion 2003)

Hawkwind are an English space rock band, one of the earliest space rock groups, formed in November 1969.
Two tracks from Hawkwind's 1974 classic space rock album "Hall of the Mountain Grill"

Hawkwind - D-Rider
Hawkwind - Hall of the Mountain Grill (instrumental)

From Blank & Jones - "Relax" album (2003) a gorgeous pop song by Pet Shop Boys

Pet Shop Boys - Love Comes Quickly (Blank & Jones Ambient Remix)

Live performance of a classical music piece in a hilarious and moving way!

I wish I could speak some French and Russian! Sad

Enjoy! Razz
