Hehe, ouadji, both songs are good but I personally prefer the second one because it gives me positive feel due to its up-tempo rhythm. Smile

Maybe you can write something like that: "this song takes me to the dream land"? Rolling Eyes Wink I guess that YONG's English is far better than mine and he could give us some useful hints here. Smile

Yes, she was a superb woman. It's a pity that she died so young (refer to this). Sad

Classics of the blues, such compositions changed a lot western music. Smile Their influence could be traced also in contemporary Asian songs. Yeah, music is a truly universal language which allows us to meet and understand better. Very Happy

Well, we may say something like this: "This song is like a flywheel that sets my soul in motion and allows me to overcome sorrow and pessimism." Wink

The library is closing. I have to listen to your suggestions later ... Sad Wink

Flutist/composer Terry Oldfield 'Across the Universe' blends uplifting flutes, low whistle, pan pipes, piano, keyboards & percussion with Juliana's ethereal vocals.

Sorry, Picnic, but Internet transfer seems to be horribly slow on this weekend (I don't know why YouTube servers are so overloaded, maybe it's due to all these Olympic Games which have just started today) - I wasn't able to listen to your recommendation. I'll try on Monday. Wink

Yes, today I was able to listen to it at last and I have to admit that this song was truly worth all these efforts. Smile Extremely sentimental and full of sorrow, resembles some ballads performed by Sarah Brightman. Video clip is also very moody, full of beautiful photos. Very Happy

I was always wondering how does the ancient music can sound like. To our times survived only a few denoted ancient compositions in fragments (for example Delphic Hyms, oldest examples of the western music whose composer is known by name) and Seikilos epitaph which is an oldest surviving complete musical composition, including notation, in whole world:And something related (but of course contemporary Wink ) - interesting performance devoted to forest Nymphs:Very Happy

Another classic! Razz Reminds me of the following covered version of a classic:

Lighthouse Family - Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone

Interesting interpretation of the well known classic, sounds even better than original to me. Wink I enjoyed very much its extended symphonic arrangement.

When I was listening to your today's musical proposition I was thinking about one of the famous hits by the Polish rock group "Budka Suflera":I think you may also like this song with a truly impressive instrumental layer, dark and sharp tune of the electric guitars and simply uncanny organ passages:Wink
