"Like A Dog Chasing Cars" - a cut from the soundtrack of the latest Batman movie. It's good, despite the fact that I'm not a Batman fan. Smile

The_Grey_Beast me too, i just love game tunes mostly from the 80's & 90's.
I have a big collection of Commodore-64 & Amiga music. I listen to them often. They are -and will be- inside my head 4ever.

He is one of the greatest Greek composers.
This music is the main theme for a cult erotic film back from the 70's
I love this tune.

A few months ago, in November 2007, when the climatic winter had begun on the 52° N latitude Wink, I "discovered" for myself Finnish group "Nightwish". Their music (symphonic metal) is similar in the power of the emotions to the classical music. It's like waterfall of the fresh cold water falling straight into the listener's soul. Very Happy Here are my favourite compositions of "Nightwish":

MHajduk, are you a poet? Your line is so romantic! Very Happy

That song is sort of "sporty". This is exactly what I like most about music - it can fill us with positive energy and, consequently, make our life better. Wink

Interesting metaphors are some kind of "spice" for our posts. We can make them this way unique and more "tasty" for the reader. Wink

Somebody said that to be a good poet you should know life very good (and often that means to be at the end of the earthly way Wink). To write a good poem you should exactly know what is passion and big love, death and fear, what means real friendship and betrayal and finally to know how wonderful and terrible in the same time this world is. In the other words, you should be a human in all possible dimensions. Smile I can't name myself a "poet". Wink

Vangelis is probably the one of the best composers of our time - seems that he really hears "Musica universalis" (i.e. "Music of the spheres") Wink, because his works are so clear and "spacious". Smile I think that his compositions for a hundred years will be classified as a classical music.

Here are my favourite Vangelis' works:

I like the track 10,000 BC - End Credits. Its rhythm and drum beats are cool. Smile
