Hi,

Still for the application I'm coding, I need an information as I'll probaly will NOT use a vb.net service, nor use a service, since event handler are a pain in the ass to implement (without forms).

I'd like to use a (fasm) DLL in order to start my process using Winlogon Notification Package and this key :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify

which should allow me to run my process it's an alternative to a service launching it (still with system account) referring to this link :
http://www.codeproject.com/KB/system/winlogon_notification_package.aspx

In the paper the guy is telling to move the DLL and ALSO the .exp generated with VC6 in system32 and then set the key values.

My question is quite simple : does I need this .EXP in fasm, and if yes, how could I gen it.

thx
