It's about fractal.
The other day I tried to render a fractal and the thing eaten up all the 4GB RAM memory of my PC causing my system to freeze.
The software I used is apophysis.
Since the renderer is open-source, I'm thinking of maybe looking at the source to find out the cause ... in the meantime maybe speed it up a little bit with fasm.
If I can get my hand on a code-profiler, it would help me a lot in speeding up that thing.
Anyone know of any good code-profiler? Apophysis's renderer is written in C++ btw.
