hey guys ...

i have i little problem with windows ...

my code is very short (83 Lines, 2048 bytes exe) ...

the app writes only a file ... but it uses 2,6 MB ram ... how it is possible???

when i remove the one messagebox it fall to 600 KB ... why???
What kind of tricks are you using?

Windows needs to load GDI32.DLL and USER32.DLL into your program space so that it can display the message box. There is no trick, displaying graphical boxes and processing mouse clicks needs code and data space to work.
