i'm still in trouble (no job, 15M² to live since 3 years, no wife, no friends, crashed my car last summer, etc... only music and asm are my enjoyements) et qu'est ce que je vois, sur mes plates bandes, un bébé qui demande de l'aide en asm, qui demande qu'on lui mache le boulot, mais tu rèves mon petit, on a rien sans un minimum d'efforts.
and franklly, i don't think your life is in danger if we don't GIVE you the SOLUTION. ASM is not EASY. if you want to code and be a good coder, you should LEARN. LEARN. TRY, SEEK. it's better for you to seek, even if it take on e month, and find by yourself than to obtain it without any effort. this trick is really simple to do. all is on the site and in your hands, you just have to code now. disconnect of the forum a bit and work now. i will not tell you all my life, but i hope you are not serious when you hope i come to be in trouble. then, Code: |

Pray tell why you are in trouble?
A) because you're taking an assembly course but didn't pay attention B) you got a job you're not qualified for, possibly "spicing up" your résumé? C) the russian mob is after you |

C) ?
just one detail, where is the DMI? in the BIOS memory i presume.. it provide a standard specification for common hardware since a lot of years now. then, trying to make a module in FASM like: Code: include "dmi.inc" ... mov esi,ptr_to_dmi-pool-data call dmi ... and then, use the DMI POOL datas for general purpose, whithin the applicaition memory, no risk to overwrite the BDA. yould be usefull for OS construction forum and just to expend one more time the function set of FASM codes... |

steward wrote: your site just says that go to Google and Nothing steward: your Q has already been answered (multiple times) and yet you still ignored it and just said "I'm in trouble". So I tried to help by suggesting that you search for whatever it is that you need. Since we seem unable to give you the answer you seek you might like to try other avenues. |
