as i see on this forum, many still aswered questions are remade.
i suppose it's because this forum is a contiguous data flow, and is not really well organised.
i propose ( if somebody want to give the power) to rearange this.
for exemple, make some sub forums for each forums.
a simple other organisation.
/ boot sectors
/ c mixing
/ little tricks
/ big tricks
/ file systems
/ memory manager
/ system api
/ toy api
/ direct x
/ file system
and so on for each forum
orginised like an array, not as a list, to save space on screen.
i'm sure it will make it more usefull.
the search tool don't work very well, and reply with post that mention keywords, as if the post is not related to the subject.

Bad idea. A forum is not an archive or documentation. And having many subforums is annoying so almost nobody is gonna follow the right direction. The way to go is having as little sections/subforums as possible.
Yes, you should search before asking a question. However, many questions are unique. As for the forum search, it works pretty well, other forum software are much worser.

There is already the sticky "Important and interesting threads", that can be updated with the info.
