I was working on an opengl template for simulations/games that I never got around to finishing up.
Someone might be able to find this code useful or helpful. Features: -Full screen window -First person camera -Input with keyboard and mouse -Multithreaded (Input/Rendering) To Do: (which I will likely never get around to) -Textures -Object rendering -Lighting -Physics

This is NOT a project, I have no intention of maintaining it or defending any design decisions. It's simply old code that I figured someone might find useful. asmfn: thats an interesting bug, I've only ever tested it on a win xp64 box, but never ran into that issue. There's a hacky frames per second code in there that writes to a console window behind the app (obviously I never got around to jumping through the opengl hoops to write text to the screen). |
