Yeah, it does sound interesting, doesn't it? Might actually be worth it, I wouldn't mind Vista-style aggressive prefetcher.

just put it inside a vmware 6,
installation took less than 10 minutes host = p4 2.66, 1GB ddr1

installation completed with a black cmd console.
preparing desktop took a little bit time.

program files folder really CLEAN!!
internet explorer and common files. 2 folders ONLY.

a copy of explorer.exe from vista to this server 2008 seems like the next thing i need to do Smile

already downloaded and installed it a month ago - just another fine fast server platform that will brings many-many money to m$

ps. and you can use it without activation, just notice about activation will annoy

it don't need to forbid the reverse engenering of windows, it's so endless.

33M to run a server, hem...
when i see the size of menuetOS (with a good set of applications), i'm a bit septic.
