This is exactly what makes a person different than the other. You wouldn't be you if you hadn't your personal tastes.

childhood.
the first emotiopns of your life makes some parts of your brain more or less sensitive to some signals.
and education.

for exemple, ME, i love the freedom and all things based on. like make some illegal things, this is freedom for me, the liberty to make forbidden things.

Physiology investigations, typically involving taste and/or olfaction, conducted among identical or fraternal twins, assist us in identifying whether genetics or environment more influences sensory preferences.

In my recollection, from years ago, maybe more accurately, DECADES ago, there was a study on identical twins in NewYork, separated at birth, one raised in a Catholic home, one in a Jewish home. They met as adults, thirty years later, (neither knew of the other's existence), and both had a keen taste for a particular brand of exotic mustard.
The more interesting question, in my opinion, is the role played by genetics versus environment in shaping RELIGIOUS preferences. Here's one surprising (at least to me) result:

genetics, it's the global architecture of your body.
and brain is part of the body.
